We donate 10% of the profits generated in Germany to athletes in Nepal. This way, the product you purchase here always paves the way for mountain adventures in two ways: for you and for athletes in the Himalayas.
Why We Do It
At the core of KAEMP 8848 is a deep passion for experiencing nature. To enable people to have these experiences, KAEMP 8848 designs outstanding products. They exist, these special moments:
When during an ascent in freezing cold, your breath in front of your mouth becomes a dense cloud. The next step to the summit can only be managed through will and love for the journey. This feeling transcends the means of language and drives the search for good equipment. Because when the path becomes impossible because the equipment is not safe, not good enough, it robs us of this feeling.
To pave the way for more people, there's the 10%. Equipment should not be the obstacle.
What We Do
10% of the annual profits generated in Germany are used to facilitate Nepalese athletes' participation in competitions, finance equipment, and provide direct support. This is not about sponsoring or performance-based payment. At the center is the belief that human aspiration should not be hindered by economic or social disadvantages.
How We Do It
Meeting at eye level, connected through passion for sport is important to us. This form is exactly what defines us. Athletes in Nepal push boundaries, their own and those of human possibility. We want to facilitate this pursuit and build and maintain a partnership relationship with athletes. Through a close social network of athletes in Nepal, from mountain guides to marathon runners, we learn about the needs of the athletes and network to be in the community where it is needed.
